Artificial intelligence solutions provider, ASAPP, has promoted Priya Vijayarajendran as its new chief executive officer.
Vijayarajendran, formerly ASAPP’s chief technology officer (CTO) and president of technology, brings three decades of experience in AI and software leadership.

Prior to joining ASAPP, Vijayarajendran served as the vice president of data and AI at Microsoft, the CTO and vice president of applied AI at IBM, and the global vice president and head of the innovation center Silicon Valley at SAP.
“Our goal at ASAPP is clear—to be the industry leader in AI for contact centers,” said Vijayarajendran. “Achieving our goal means advancing our best-in-class products, and helping our customers quickly realize the measurable economic and goodwill value of our offerings.”
Frank Slootman, a member of ASAPP’s board of directors, highlighted the company’s position in the evolving AI landscape. “Under Priya’s leadership, we have a real shot at totally transforming the economics, quality and monetization of AI-enabled CX. We are rapidly advancing features with our customers, and it takes ASAPP's driven, inspired and customer-obsessed team to make that happen!”
Vijayarajendran holds a bachelor of engineering in computer science from PSG College of Technology and a master of science in computer science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. She also completed an executive education program in leading transformative change at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
