BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi celebrates Ram Navami

Tens of thousands of devotees marked the birth anniversaries of Lord Ram and Lord Swaminarayan at the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, the lead sadhu of the Mandir, said the celebrations featured a vibrant series of devotional and cultural events.

The gathering highlighted the virtues and teachings of the two revered holy figures, spiritual reflection and joyous community engagement. The auspicious day began with devotional songs and the celebration of Lord Ram’s birth. This was followed by the Shri Ram Janmostav aarti, which is a sacred and unifying ritual honoring the birth of Lord Ram.

A cultural presentation was held near the temple’s Ganga Ghat, where youth performers showcased their talents through traditional dances – depicting the inspiring life of Lord Ram. They highlighted Lord Ram’s righteousness, compassion, and devotion.

A special assembly followed the celebration of Shri Ram Janmostav.
