Bukhara Grill returns to NYC after 3-year break

The hiatus, brought on by the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, did not diminish the restaurant’s commitment to quality, according to Raja Jhanjee, owner of Bukhara Grill.

After more than three years away, Bukhara Grill has officially returned to New York City’s dining scene, bringing back its signature North Indian flavors and tandoori specialties. The restaurant, which first opened its doors in 1999, has relocated to 120 East 39th Street, between Park and Lexington Avenue, just 10 blocks from the original 49th Street.
