Sydney’s iconic Opera House is set to become the backdrop for a powerful, urgent message this International Women’s Day. A group of nearly 60 Indian-origin women will perform a captivating 15-minute show at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, which is situated in front of the Opera House, as the sun sets over Sydney Harbour on March 8.

Organized by Changayimaar Australia, this dance-based performance marks the beginning of Claim Your Voice, an awareness campaign aimed at breaking the silence around domestic and family violence. Councillor Sreeni Pillamari, the chief guest for the evening, will be present to lend his voice to the cause.
