CoHNA Canada’s Rishabh Sarswat earns King Charles III Medal

He has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to community advocacy, diversity, and Hindu rights.

Rishabh Sarswat, president of the Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) Canada, has been honored with the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. This distinguished award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities.

CoHNA announced in an X post, “We are incredibly proud of Rishabh ji for his unwavering commitment, dedication, and leadership in ensuring that the concerns of Canadian Hindus are heard in public life.”

“From addressing Hinduphobia to leading Swastika advocacy, from raising the voices of Canadian Hindus of Bangladeshi origin to fostering interfaith dialogue, his tireless efforts through @cohnaofficial continue to inspire many—especially the next generation of leaders. This was exemplified last year when the @HinduStudentsC at the University of Waterloo honored him on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima,” the Mar. 24 post read.
 



Sarswat, an Indian-origin environmental scientist, paralegal, and community advocate for human rights and cultural awareness, has played a key role in fostering community engagement, promoting diversity, and addressing issues impacting the Hindu diaspora in North America. His leadership in CoHNA Canada has strengthened advocacy efforts and amplified voices on key social and policy matters.
