Cyara names Raj Gupta as CTO

Gupta will lead engineering, product management, and security, driving innovation and strategy.

California-based AI-powered customer experience transformation platform, Cyara, appointed Indian-American technology executive, Raj Gupta as its chief technology officer (CTO). 

Gupta brings over two decades of engineering leadership experience from companies such as Cogito, VERA Security, Navis, NICE, and Oracle, making him a pivotal hire for Cyara's strategic growth, the company said in a statement.

During his career, Gupta has successfully driven advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data security. He has a proven track record of spearheading global product development across a range of industries, from AI and customer experience to supply chain management. 

In his new role at Cyara, Gupta will oversee the engineering, CloudOps, product management, and security teams, with a focus on advancing the company’s technological innovation and strengthening its product strategy.

Rishi Rana, president of Cyara, expressed confidence in Gupta’s ability to lead, highlighting his extensive expertise and experience as critical to the company’s future. “His deep expertise in technology and leadership in driving transformative innovations are exactly what Cyara needs as we continue to align more closely with our strategic goals and position ourselves for future growth,” Rana said. 

Gupta holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in Management from Harvard University.
