DISA appoints Raju Shah as chief experience officer

Shah, who currently serves as the director of enterprise engineering and innovation, will continue in his existing role while also assuming the responsibilities of CXO

The United States Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has appointed Raju Shah as its new chief experience officer (CXO) to enhance customer experience across DISA. 

Shah, who currently serves as the director of enterprise engineering and innovation, will continue in his existing role while also assuming the responsibilities of CXO, MeriTalk reported He will report to DISA’s chief information officer, Roger Greenwell. 

“The CXO centralizes responsibility for experience management under one leader.This strategic focus includes customer experience improvement for key stakeholders, mission partners, and employees, alongside initiatives in transformation, organizational culture, and employee experience,.”the agency said as published in the report.

“The decision to appoint Shah as CXO was based on his extensive experience and achievements in understanding customer pain points and operational insights,” it added. 

At DISA, Shah has enhanced the engineering processes, leveraging simulation and modeling to optimize operations. His leadership has ensured secure, reliable, and cost-effective technical solutions, with proactive monitoring and deployment of sensor and analytics technologies. 

He spearheaded initiatives in intelligence automation, driving AIOps to preemptively address issues and significantly reduce mean time to restore services.“These efforts minimize disruptions for warfighters and end users, aligning with our mission to provide secure and reliable IT infrastructure that enhances battlefield lethality,” DISA noted.

Shah plans to integrate more AI and emerging technologies into the agency. “It’s a data-driven, AI-enabled department to ensure our warfighters’ needs are met,” he said. “We are deploying sensors throughout our network, driving enterprise operations to a digital, data-driven environment.”
