The US President-elect Donald Trump has taken forward his mocking of Canada, by alluring Canadians with huge tax cuts besides extending military cover to the “51st state”.

On Christmas, he took to his social media platform to greet everyone while opening his mind on his earlier mocking of “Canada as 51st State” and its “Governor Justin Trudeau.” He also referred to other similar but contagious issues, including regaining control of the Panama Canal and acquiring Greenland because of its strategic location.

Combining all his utterings on extending territorial and water channel jurisdictions of the United States, Donald Trump has tried to give seriousness to his earlier “jokes” or “mocking” of Canadians, regaining control of the Panama Canal and acquiring or buying Greenland.

This is what he said in his Social Truth post: “Merry Christmas to all, including to the wonderful soldiers of China, who are lovingly, but illegally, operating the Panama Canal (where we lost 38,000 people in its building 110 years ago), always making certain that the United States puts in Billions of Dollars in “repair” money, but will have absolutely nothing to say about “anything.” Also, to Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada, whose Citizens’ Taxes are far too high, but if Canada were to become our 51st State, their Taxes would be cut by more than 60%, and their businesses would immediately double in size. They would be militarily protected like no other Country anywhere in the World. Likewise, to the people of Greenland, which the United States needs for National Security purposes and who want the U.S. to be there, we will!”.

The latest message may have sent shivers down the spines of the authorities concerned, including those in control of administration in China, Panama and Canada.

Starting with the first mocking at Mar-A-Lago resort with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his entourage on Nov.29, when Donald Trump “mocked” for the first time, saying “Canada could well become 51st State of the US” and Justin Trudeau as its “Governor,” he repeated it several times.

Subsequently, he started talking about regaining control of the Panama Canal besides acquiring Greenland for its strategic location.

The President of Panama reacted strongly to his utterings on social media, describing them as direct interference in his country's sovereign affairs. Canada has not yet responded officially to his oft-quoted posts.

China has also reportedly reacted strongly to his posts making its position clear of its continuous link to the Panama Canal.
