Everest Group elevates Jimit Arora to CEO

Arora, a 20-year Everest Group veteran, previously served as managing partner, leading enterprise services.

Everest Group, a Dallas-based research and advisory firm, announced the appointment of Jimit Arora as its new chief executive officer, effective February 1, 2025.
Arora, who has been with the company for 20 years, most recently served as managing partner. He will succeed Peter Bendor-Samuel, the firm’s founder and CEO since 1991. 

In a statement, Samuel emphasized the importance of leadership continuity for the firm’s growth. “With Jimit Arora taking over as CEO, Everest Group is in the best possible hands. Jimit has been with Everest Group for the last two decades and has been instrumental in shaping the business that we are today.  In his new role, Jimit is poised to build on the firm's strong foundation, driving its growth into new markets, enhancing partnerships with clients and stakeholders, and nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence,” Samuel said. 

Arora has led the firm’s enterprise services practice, guiding research teams that assist Fortune 500 companies in navigating global sourcing and technology strategies. Under his leadership, Everest Group expanded its analyst base and launched a new conference and events division.

Commenting on his new role, Arora said, "I take the privilege and responsibility of serving Everest Group's existing and future members very seriously, and I know I have amazing teams of analysts, functional and operational experts, and of course my fellow Partners, alongside me for the journey,"

"It is a huge privilege to be taking over the CEO position from Peter Bendor-Samuel and we have a shared passion for everything we have already achieved as a business and a shared belief and excitement in what we will achieve over the coming years," he added. 

Arora holds a bachelor of engineering and an MBA from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani.
