Virginia State Senator Ghazala Hashmi has called on Governor Glenn Youngkin to sign the Right to Contraception Act into law, invoking the example of Republican-led Tennessee, where a similar bill was just signed by their governor.
“Just yesterday in Tennessee—a state with a Republican trifecta and a Republican super majority in both chambers of the legislature—the governor signed a bill codifying the right to contraception,” Hashmi said in a statement released on Apr.25.
