Gun Owners of America (GOA), a prominent pro-Second Amendment advocacy organization, expressed strong support  for Donald Trump's  nomination of Kash Patel as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

As a steadfast defender of gun rights, Patel has earned the endorsement of the group, which represents over two million members and activists nationwide. His constitutional approach aligns closely with GOA’s mission of protecting gun rights without compromise.

Erich Pratt, senior vice president of GOA, praised Patel's nomination, citing his commitment to restoring constitutional integrity within the bureau. "We’re thrilled by the nomination of Kash Patel to head up the FBI," Pratt said.

"Over the course of the last four years, anti-gunners constantly weaponized the FBI against gun owners, and we’re confident that under his leadership, the reckoning is coming,” he added

Patel, who spoke at GOA’s inaugural GOALS (Gun Owners Activist Leadership Summit) conference in Knoxville this past August, has been described by the organization as “fiercely pro-gun” and an unwavering advocate for the Second Amendment.
Tim Macy, chairman of GOA, echoed Pratt's enthusiasm. “Kash is a true constitutionalist who shares our commitment to the Second Amendment,” Macy stated.

GOA representatives emphasized their readiness to engage with media, highlighting the significance of Patel's nomination amid ongoing debates over the role of federal agencies in regulating firearms. The organization remains steadfast in its advocacy for the right to keep and bear arms, viewing Patel’s leadership as a potential shift toward greater alignment with constitutional principles.
