Tulane University recently highlighted US Representative Suhas Subramanyam (SLA ’08) in a blog post, reflecting on how his time at the university shaped his journey into public service. Now representing Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, the Indian American lawmaker credits his Tulane experience—especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina—as a defining moment in his career.
“My time at Tulane was very formative in getting me on this path,” he said.
