India a key 'ingredient' in US global success, says White House’s former drug czar

"It is critical that these two countries continue to cooperate on the important matters that affect not only the two countries but the entire world," Dr Rahul Gupta said.

Dr. Rahul Gupta, the former drug czar of the Joe Biden administration said that India is an "essential component, even a very important ingredient" in the success of the United States' global partnerships in an interview with New India Abroad.

Gupta stressed the significance of strengthening ties between the two democracies, highlighting cooperation in areas such as security, health, technology, education, and trade.
