Indian American Democrats slam Trump’s Congress address

They condemned the US President for economic policies, Social Security claims, media restrictions, and the trade stance, especially regarding India.

Indian American Democrats sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s Mar.4 joint address to Congress, where he declared the "Return of the American Dream" and a "golden age of America." 

Congressman Shri Thanedar dismissed Trump's speech as disconnected from reality. "Tonight, Donald Trump stood before the country and told you that America is thriving. He said the economy is booming, citizens are protected, and working families are winning. But my constituents have told me otherwise," Thanedar said.
