Onkar Singh, the founder and CEO of GN Management Inc., was recognized as a visionary leader shaping progressive change at the Baisakhi Di Raat – Punjab Icon Awards 2025.
Presented by GS. Bawa/GN Khalsa College, Mumbai Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board, the Punjab Icon Awards 2025 honored phenomenal leaders and individuals who achievements have bolstered the Punjabi community.
Charan Singh Sapra, the President of the Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board, in a statement said the event is not just about awards. “It’s a celebration of our vibrant culture, of the indomitable Punjabi spirit, and of individuals who carry the legacy of excellence and inspiration in their respective fields.”
Onkar Singh, an Indian American who runs Let’s Share a Meal – a non-profit organization which serves 1,500 individuals to more than 20,000 meals every year across more than a hundred shelters in the United States, was honored at the annual event, where Bollywood celebrities Raj Babbar, Bobby Deol, Raveena Tandon, Geeta Basra, Mukesh Rishi, Sushant Singh, Annu Malik, and Upasana Singh were also present.

According to Jasmine Kaur podcast, Singh moved to the US, at the age of 17, from a small village in India. He worked at a gas station in New Jersey for four years, and bought his first truck. Singh started his own trucking and brokerage company and later entered the world of real estate construction and development.
He has completed several residential and commercial projects and is now building a skyscraper called Singh Tower, which will forever change the skyline of Jersey City.
