The University of Central Florida has announced the honorees of the 2025 Class of 30 Under 30, an annual award celebrating young alumni making significant contributions in their fields.
Amongst the honorees are two Indian-Americans, Padmavathi Ganduri, who received her bachelors in integrated business from the Burnett Honors college, and Miten Patel, with a Bachelor’s in public administration and Master’s in urban and regional planning from the College of Community Innovation and Education.

Ganduri, a 2021 graduate has demonstrated a commitment to leadership and service. During her time at UCF, she served as president of Honors Congress, participated in Student Government’s Judicial Branch, and interned with Lockheed Martin.
She also took part in The Fund for American Studies’ Leadership and the American Presidency program, where she interned with Public Spend Forum, researching personal protective equipment suppliers in Europe. Ganduri is currently a J.D. Candidate at George Washington University Law School.
Patel, a 2021 graduate has focused on improving city infrastructure and policy development.. He currently serves as senior planner and project manager for planning projects presented to the City of Sanford. His work emphasizes sustainable planning and urban development, and he has contributed to key projects aimed at enhancing public spaces and transportation networks.
Jessica Malberti, chair of the UCF Young Alumni Community, praised the honorees, saying their dedication and achievements embody the spirit of Knight Nation. “Knight Nation and the UCF Young Alumni Community are incredibly fortunate to be shaped by these extraordinary individuals, whose remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to UCF continue to inspire.”
