Kashyap Pramod Vinod Patel, popular as Kash Patel, 44, on Feb.21 was sworn in as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, thus creating history by becoming the First Indian American and first Hindu to lead the most prestigious and powerful investigating agency of the United States.

Administered by Attorney General Pam Bondi, Patel took the oath of office with his left hand on Holy Gita at the historic Indian Treaty Room of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in the presence of his family members, close friends, and senior officials of the Trump Administration, on Feb.21 afternoon.
