Niraj Antani, an Indian American candidate for Ohio State Treasurer in 2026, expressed strong support for the recent decision by Ohio State University to end its Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This follows the leadership of President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance’s Executive Order on the matter.

Trump's decision to end federal DEI programs marks a significant shift in policy. The move, backed by an executive order, aims to eliminate DEI initiatives in federal agencies and restrict funding for gender-affirming care for minors.
