Okanagan College names Sai Manda as associate director

Manda will lead the newly restructured data analytics team, formerly known as Institutional Research.

Canada’s Okanagan College has appointed Indian-origin business intelligence professional Sai Manda as its new associate director of data, analytics and reporting. 

Manda brings a diverse professional background to the role, with experience spanning finance, research, aviation, technology consulting, and banking. His  data-driven solutions, combined with a strong technical foundation, is expected to drive the development of the college’s data and reporting capabilities, a release stated.

In his new role, Manda will focus on strengthening the college’s data infrastructure and developing robust analytics to support decision-making across departments. "I am thrilled to join Okanagan College and share my passion for data. I look forward to contributing to the growth of the Data, Analytics and Reporting team at OC,” Manda said.

Prior to joining Okanagan College, Manda held leadership positions in the Midwest United States, where he successfully led strategic initiatives to enhance business intelligence and reporting across various organizations.

Manda holds a bachelor of mechanical engineering from Sastra University in India. He completed his master of science in mechanical engineering and a master of subsea engineering and energy trading, both from the University of Houston.

Okanagan College officials have expressed confidence that Manda’s expertise will play a crucial role in advancing the college’s data capabilities. His appointment is part of a broader initiative to enhance data analytics and reporting functions across the institution.
