‘Picture This’ revamps romance with Indian-origin cast
The film, adapted from the 2024 Australian rom-com Five Blind Dates by Shuang Hu, retains the heart of the original while bringing out a distinctly British-Indian cultural flavor.

London-born Tamilian-Indian actor Simone Ashley is set to lead ‘Picture This’, a vibrant wedding rom-com directed by Prarthana Mohan. Slated for a Mar.6 release on Amazon Prime Video, the film follows Pia (Ashley), a struggling photographer who unexpectedly crosses paths with her former love, Charlie (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), at her sister’s wedding.
Amazon Prime Video unveiled the film’s first trailer on social media with the caption, "Finding love isn’t quite what she pictured… #PictureThis, starring Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, streams March 6." The trailer teases a whirlwind of wedding festivities, from dazzling dance sequences and lavish outfits to chaotic matchmaking orchestrated by well-meaning yet meddling relatives.
