Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to Lex Fridman, a popular podcaster and computer scientist  regarding his highly anticipated interview, set to release on Mar.16

PM Modi took to X, describing the discussion as a fascinating exchange.

“It was indeed a fascinating conversation with @lexfridman, covering diverse topics including reminiscing about my childhood, the years in the Himalayas, and the journey in public life,” Modi wrote. “Do tune in and be a part of this dialogue!”

Fridman, known for hosting long-form conversations with global leaders, scientists, and thinkers, shared the news on social media platform X.

“I had an epic 3-hour podcast conversation with @narendramodi, Prime Minister of India,” Fridman wrote. “It was one of the most powerful conversations of my life. It'll be out tomorrow.”

Fridman later provided more details about the timing of the podcast’s release, stating, “Podcast should be published tomorrow (Sunday) around 8 am EST / 5:30 pm IST.”

The US-based podcaster has interviewed several influential personalities on ‘The Lex Fridman Podcast,’ including US President Donald Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Meta (Facebook) co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Fridman had previously expressed admiration for PM Modi, calling him “one of the most fascinating human beings” he has ever studied. In February, he wrote, “Narendra Modi is one of the most fascinating human beings I have ever studied. I can't wait to talk to him on the podcast for several hours in a few weeks.”

He also spoke about his personal approach to preparing for the conversation, sharing that he planned to undertake a 48-72 hour fast before meeting Modi.

“On top of the complex, deep history of India and his role in it, just the human side of Modi is really interesting. For example, he has often done multi-day fasts (9 days) for spiritual reasons. I fast often as well. So I'll do a 48-72 hour fast once I arrive in India before talking to him,” Fridman wrote.

This will be PM Modi’s second podcast appearance, following his conversation with Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath in January.
