Rahul Gupta joins Solutions by Text board

Dallas-based financial technology company, Solutions by Text (SBT) has announced the appointment of Indian-American fintech expert Rahul Gupta to its board of directors.
Gupta brings over 35 years of experience in the financial services and fintech sectors, having held leadership roles in both private and public organizations. He most recently served as CEO of RevSpring, a billing and payments provider specializing in the healthcare industry.
Prior to that, Gupta spent a decade as executive vice president and group president at Fiserv, a Fortune 500 financial technology leader, where he oversaw strategic payment businesses, including its industry-leading bill payment platforms.
“Consumers are increasingly interested in engaging with their financial providers through mobile and text channels,' said Gupta. "Solutions by Text enables this engagement for hundreds of financial institutions and millions of consumers. I look forward to supporting the company on its growth trajectory as it continues to accelerate as a category leader."
Gupta’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for SBT, which recently secured $110 million in funding and is expanding its platform to serve over 750 customers across North America. The company has sent more than 1.7 billion messages in the last 12 months and continues to enhance its real-time messaging and payments solutions.
David Baxter, CEO of SBT, praised Gupta’s appointment, stating, “We're thrilled to bring the depth of Rahul and Flint's payments experience and leadership to our board and have their guidance as we forge ahead on our journey to transform how businesses communicate with their customers about bills.”
Gupta holds a BBA from Delhi University, and a MBA from Indiana University.
