Saayam partners with One Step Foundation

Saayam will enable fundraising for the Foundation with no-middleman, tech-enabled philanthropy.

Saayam donated $20,000 to the One Step Foundation / Saayam

Saayam, an AI-powered giving platform founded by Indian American technologist Dinakara Nagalla, has partnered with the One Step Foundation, USA, to strengthen grassroots impact through direct, transparent support.

The announcement came after the One Step Run 2025 event, where Saayam served as presenting sponsor and contributed $20,000. The event raised a total of $50,000 for projects like Project SEE, which funds cataract surgeries in Nepal and South Asia.

Saayam is now the One Step Foundation’s primary platform for fundraising, volunteer coordination, and community outreach, which ensures that donations go directly to recipients, with real-time tracking and AI-backed fraud protection.

"Saayam isn't just another product. It's a lifeline for those who need help but don't know where to turn. It's about empowering the givers and the ones in need,” said Nagalla, who was born in South India and built a tech career in the U.S. before launching Saayam.

Bal Joshi, board member of the One Step Foundation, said, "We didn't do this run to burn calories or post pictures. We did it to remind people that compassion is action. Our partnership with Saayam takes that spirit and supercharges it."

Gigi Gupta, board director at Saayam, emphasized the platform’s focus on cutting out bureaucracy. "We've built a platform where 100 percent of what you give reaches the person who needs it. No middlemen. No bureaucracy. Just trust, backed by real-time tracking and AI-driven fraud protection."

One Step Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through healthcare, education, advocacy, and development. With a mission to deliver help, and hope, it works alongside volunteers and partners to create lasting change and uplift lives across underserved populations across US and the world.
