Indian designer label Sabyasachi is currently being showcased in New York City’s luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman running till February 3, 2025.

For a limited duration, the store will feature the full Sabyasachi collection, offering a rare U.S. location for renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s luxurious, India-inspired designs.

The Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, inspired by global influences from Benaras to Mongolia, integrates haute couture with contemporary style. With classical menswear tailoring and handcrafted embroidery, the line embodies a modern heirloom quality that blends elegance with ease.

Known for its rich blend of cultural heritage and modern fashion sensibility, Sabyasachi includes ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, and jewelry in an ambiance crafted to reflect the brand’s signature luxury. Mukherjee described the debut as “a privilege,” adding, "This presentation marks a special moment where the best of India meets New York's finest emporium."

"The world of Sabyasachi is immersive and distinct, offering a rare glimpse into the creative mind of a true original. We share a bond that is rooted in a passion for opulent sophistication and unparalleled craftsmanship," said Linda Fargo, director of women's fashion and store presentation at Bergdorf Goodman. "We look forward to offering our customers the chance to experience the full breadth of Mukherjee's vision with this shop."

The launch builds on a partnership between Sabyasachi and Bergdorf Goodman that began in 2020, as part of the Neiman Marcus Group’s “Revolutionizing Luxury Experiences” strategy. Founded in 2002, Sabyasachi has collaborated with global brands such as Estée Lauder and Christian Louboutin, creating modern heirlooms that celebrate Indian heritage.
