Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ sets records ahead of release

Bollywood film ‘Sikandar,’ starring Salman Khan, is witnessing strong pre-release engagement ahead of its March 30 release.
The teaser, released on Feb. 27, set a record as the most-viewed teaser for an Indian film, amassing 41.8 million organic views within 24 hours, along with over 723,000 likes and 72,000 comments.

The teaser showcases Salman Khan in a rugged look, engaging in high-octane action sequences that have left fans eagerly awaiting the film's release. The film’s trailer has also secured a place among the top 10 most-viewed Indian film trailers, generating discussions about its action sequences.
The chemistry between Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the female lead, has been a focal point of discussion among audiences. Mandanna’s rendition of Lag Ja Gale interwoven with Salman Khan’s action sequences, has also drawn attention on social media.
Advance bookings in the UAE have reportedly reached high levels, and the hashtag #SikandarTrailer continues to trend at number one.
Sikandar is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Overseas distribution for the film is managed by Marudhar Entertainment and Fun Asia Films.
