Sewa Boston’s dance competition raises funds for underprivileged kids

Through vibrant dance performances, Nrityameva Jayate 2025 raised an undisclosed amount to support its flagship projects, digital literacy, and girl empowerment programs.

Sewa Boston’s Nrityameva Jayate 2025 was held on Mar.8, featuring the power of dance, culture, and community spirit to support meaningful causes. After a brief hiatus, the event came back stronger than ever with over 40 captivating dance performances and 250+ enthusiastic participants, drawing a large crowd and creating a festive atmosphere.

The event laid out its deeper purpose—supporting impactful social initiatives. Funds raised from Nrityameva Jayate 2025 will directly benefit Sewa Boston’s flagship programs, including the Support a Child (SAC) initiative and the Sanitation, Hygiene, and Empowerment of the Girl Child (SHE) program. These projects aim to uplift underprivileged children and young girls by providing them with essential resources, education, and opportunities for a brighter future.

Additionally, the undisclosed amount of funds will also support the Digital Literacy Project, a local student-led nonprofit focused on bridging the digital divide by offering technology education to underserved communities.

During Nrityameva Jayate 2025, from classical to non-classical styles, dancers of all ages lit up the stage with energy and passion. The event was judged by a distinguished panel including Ghatraju, Jayashree Kar Mohapatra, Arpita Das Pathak, Sailaja Edupuganti, Adilakshmi Gollapudi, Priya Asthana, Priti Shokeen, Swasti Bhargava, Grishma Shah, and Puja Harkut Rathi, whose expertise helped ensure a fair and inspiring competition.
