Shannon joins a growing list of Indian-origin performers featured at the festival in recent years. Her setlist will include her widely recognized track ‘Give Me Your Hand’, which earned the Best International Singer Award, along with other originals such as ‘A Longtime’, ‘Always’, ‘Run’, ‘Retrace’, and ‘OMT’ a collaboration with singer Sonu Nigam.
Shannon, who grew up between London and Los Angeles, trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She launched her music career in the U.S. with the release of her debut single ‘A Long Time,’ produced by Grammy-winner Kyle Townsend.
In addition to music, Shannon has acted in independent films and advocates for mental health awareness, often speaking publicly about cyberbullying and her own experiences navigating identity and expectations as a second-generation artist.
Other Indian artists such as Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and rapper AP Dhillon have also performed at Coachella, in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
Coachella 2025's lineup includes headliners such as Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat.
