Over 200 members of the South Asian community came together this past weekend for a Navratri Garba and Dandia event, which quickly transformed into a powerful political rally in support of Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. The festive atmosphere highlighted the intersection of cultural pride and political determination as attendees united to champion Harris's bid for the White House.

Ajay Bhutoria, a prominent community leader, expressed the overwhelming sense of solidarity. “It was inspiring to see so many people come together, proudly showing their support for Kamala Harris for President. With less than 30 days until the election, it's crucial we all take action. Each of us must ‘Do Something’ to help elect Kamala Harris as our next President!”

The South Asian community has emerged as a potential deciding force in this critical election. Bhutoria underscored the significance of their involvement, calling it "the most important election of our lifetime." He urged his fellow attendees to get involved in various campaign efforts, from registering voters to volunteering in battleground states. “We encourage everyone to help register voters, reach out to friends and family in battleground states, and consider volunteering for phone banking or voter turnout efforts for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz,” he said.
