A growing number of student visa terminations across American universities has left international students reeling, with Indians, who comprise the largest share of foreign students in the US, among the affected.
Several major institutions, including Columbia University, the University of California, Penn, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, have reported a sudden spike in revocations of F-1 student visas and associated SEVIS records. The move has led to confusion, fear, and, in some cases, deportations.
