Tanishq partners with Indian American designer for NYFW debut
Tanishq's global designs, inspired by India's craftsmanship, complemented Bibhu Mohapatra's 2025 Fall collection, rooted in Indian heritage.

India’s leading jewelry brand, Tanishq, collaborated with acclaimed Indian American fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra for its debut at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) earlier this month.
Tanishq showcased over 40 exquisite jewelry pieces from its latest collection, complementing 20 meticulously curated looks designed by Mohapatra.
The collaboration marked a significant milestone as it brought together two brands with deep roots in India, celebrated for their commitment to blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
Mohapatra, known for his sophisticated style and global appeal, incorporated elements inspired by Indian arts into his Fall collection. Tanishq’s jewelry complemented these design elements, highlighting the elegance and intricate details of both the clothing and accessories.
Commenting on the partnership, Amrit Pal Singh, business head of Tanishq USA, said, “Tanishq USA is thrilled about this partnership with Bibhu Mohapatra which was born from the natural synergy between the inspiration behind our creations and the essence of Bibhu's work.”
“Both celebrate a modern interpretation of India’s rich, eclectic nuances, bringing them to global audiences. Our designs are crafted to complement the bold statements at the heart of his collection, enhancing its core elements with elegance and sophistication,” Singh added.

Tanishq’s participation in NYFW marks a significant milestone in the brand’s global presence, as it continues to showcase India’s craftsmanship on the world stage. Tanishq launched its first US store in Iselin, New Jersey, in January 2023, expanding its presence to Chicago on East New York Street, Dallas on Preston Road, Houston on Post Oak Boulevard, Washington in Redmond, and Atlanta on Peachtree Pkwy.
