TechnoMile names Jay Shah to advisory board

In his new role, Shah is responsible for providing strategic guidance to drive growth and enhance solutions.

Virginia-based provider of AI-enabled cloud solutions for government contractors, TechnoMile, announced the appointment of Indian-American executive Jay Shah to its advisory board. 

Shah, a seasoned leader in the government contracting (GovCon) sector, brings over 25 years of experience in operational growth and enterprise value creation.

In his new role, Shah will collaborate with TechnoMile's executive leadership to offer strategic guidance and help the company scale its solutions for government contractors. His focus will be on strengthening the company’s market position and supporting growth initiatives, a  statement by the firm noted.

"The deep GovCon expertise that Jay brings will provide invaluable guidance, enabling TechnoMile to enhance our decision-making processes, strengthen our market position and drive sustainable growth, and continue to deliver unmatched value to our customers," said Ashish Khot, CEO of TechnoMile. 

Shah previously served as chief operating officer (COO) at Octo, where he helped drive the company’s significant growth and its acquisition by IBM in 2022. Prior to his COO role, Shah led Octo's Federal Health business unit and earned a spot in the G2Xchange FedHealthIT100 Hall of Fame twice. He has also held leadership positions at Gartner and Capgemini. 

Shah holds a BS in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, an MS in IT management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and an MBA from University of Maryland.
