The Recording Academy, which organizes the Grammys, unveiled a fundraising campaign during the event to support wildfire relief efforts. This campaign and the awards ceremony quickly drew criticism, with many viewers questioning why the public was being asked to donate when the event was filled with wealthy celebrities.
