Trump ends birthright citizenship: Implications for Indians

On his first day in office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to end automatic birthright citizenship, a policy in place for over 150 years under the 14th Amendment. 

The executive order aims to restrict citizenship to children born in the United States whose parents are U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or members of the military, marking a significant shift in U.S. immigration policy, with far-reaching implications for immigrant communities, including Indians.
