The University of Southampton’s Delhi campus, set to open in August 2025, has launched several scholarship programs aimed at supporting meritorious Indian students. These scholarships include the Delhi Presidential Scholarship and the Future Talent Scholarship, designed to provide financial assistance to deserving candidates in undergraduate and graduate programs.

Located in Gurugram, the Delhi campus marks the first international branch of the university, in collaboration with Oxford International Education Group (OIEG). The campus will offer four undergraduate and two graduate programs, with courses taught by both local and international faculty, ensuring high standards of education.

Ranked among the world’s top 100 universities, the University of Southampton is making its debut in India as part of a historic public-private partnership under India’s New Education Policy (NEP), aimed at providing world-class education within the country.

Delhi Presidential Scholarship for Undergraduates and Graduates

  • The graduate scholarship will cover the tuition fees for the one-year duration of a University of Southampton Delhi graduate program.
  • Details about how to apply for these scholarships will be published in the last week of February 2025.

Future Talent Scholarship and Bursary

The university will also offer the Future Talent Scholarship, a competitive award for up to twelve exceptional students across all programs. Each recipient will receive Rs 220,000 towards their one-year tuition fees for the 2025/26 academic year.

In addition, the Future Talent Bursary will be available to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. The merit-based bursary will contribute up to Rs 660,000 towards their tuition fees for the same academic year.
