US-India Chamber of Commerce hosts Annual Women’s Conference

The conference featured Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, empowering women leaders through networking, leadership insights, and professional growth.

The US-India Chamber of Commerce (USICOC) hosted its 9th Annual Women’s Conference, an event dedicated to celebrating and empowering women in business. 

With over 450 attendees, the conference provided a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and leadership development, solidifying its reputation as one of North Texas’ premier gatherings for women professionals.

Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, a distinguished public service and business leader, delivered this year’s keynote address, moderated by Indian-American business professional Neel Gonuguntla, who serves as USICOC’s executive board member. Reflecting on her tenure in the Senate, Hutchison highlighted her efforts to strengthen protections against violence toward women. She also shared insights from her role as the U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, emphasizing the alliance’s significance. Encouraging continued engagement, she underscored the importance of investing in NATO as a vital strategic partnership.

Beyond the keynote address, the conference featured engaging panel discussions with accomplished executives and entrepreneurs. Participants shared experiences and actionable strategies aimed at advancing women in various industries.

USICOC president and CEO Raj Daniels expressed gratitude for the continued success of the event, stating, “We were honored to continue the tradition of our Women’s Conference, providing a space where women could connect, share knowledge, and inspire one another.”

“This event reflected our commitment to supporting women leaders and entrepreneurs, and we are grateful to Neeti Khaitan and Neel Gonuguntla for their foresight in bringing this vision to life,” Daniels added. 

The event was originally conceptualized by Neeti Khaitan and Neel Gonuguntla, whose dedication has helped establish the conference as a platform for fostering collaboration among women professionals.
