The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) criticized the Apr.22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which killed 26 and injured several others.
“The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) strongly condemns the dastardly attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed the lives of innocent civilians and injured several others,” the group said in a statement.
Calling the strike a “heinous attack” that marred the “picturesque town of Pahalgam,” the forum expressed solidarity with India and the victims’ families.
“USISPF stands with the people of India during these darkest hours. We extend our heartfelt condolences to those grieving and pray for the swift recovery of the injured,” it said.
Describing Apr.22 as a “black Tuesday,” the group called the incident a “sobering reminder” of why the U.S.-India defense and security partnership is “vital” to counter both state and non-state threats.
“It behooves on both the U.S and India and along with their partner countries to coalesce and counter these pernicious foes,” the statement added.

“The U.S.-India Business Council utterly condemns this despicable and cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists,” said Atul Keshap, president of USIBC.
“Our nations and our peoples are always most united in the face of tragic loss, and we grieve with our Indian brothers and sisters,” he said.
Keshap added that the perpetrators “deserve no mercy” and the attack highlighted the need to deepen ties between the two countries.
“This dreadful attack reminds us of the urgent need to strengthen the ties between our two peoples even more, in every dimension of our friendship,” the statement said.
