Veterans for America First (VFAF) has officially endorsed former Chief of Staff to the United States Secretary of Defense Kash Patel as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The group’s president, Robert M. Cornicelli and Navy Veteran, announced the endorsement, praising Patel’s leadership experience and commitment to President Donald J. Trump’s America First agenda.
Patel, who served as Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, has held several key roles in national security. Notably, he was Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council, where he played a significant part in counterterrorism efforts, including the elimination of ISIS leaders and orchestrating the repatriation of American hostages.
He also managed operations for the U.S. intelligence community as Principal Deputy to the Acting Director of National Intelligence.
Veterans for America First highlighted Patel’s record of transparency and loyalty to President Trump, emphasizing his ability to restore accountability and trust in the FBI. In a statement, VFAF described Patel as uniquely qualified to lead the agency, noting his unwavering commitment to justice and national security.
“Kash Patel's commitment to justice, transparency, and the rule of law makes him uniquely qualified to lead the FBI and restore its mission to serve the American people with integrity,” said Cornicelli.
Patel’s endorsement follows his extensive career in government service, with prior roles that include National Security Advisor and Senior Counsel for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. His work investigating the Russian interference in the 2016 election further solidified his reputation for defending democratic processes
