Vibrant holi celebration lights up Gayatri Chetna Centre

The Gayatri Chetna Center (GCC), commonly referred to as Gayatri Mandir, hosted a vibrant and joyous Holi Dhuleti celebration recently. Over 8200 people from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania congregated at the center to partake in the festivities.

The celebration kicked off with the Holika Dahan, or Navanmeshti Yagya, conducted by priests from Shantikunj, Haridwar, alongside local devotees. Attendees participated in offering freshly harvested crops and coconuts to the sacred fire, symbolizing gratitude and worship.

Holi Dhuleti, renowned as the festival of colors, unfolded with enthusiastic exchanges colours among attendees. Local artists and devotees entertained the crowd with traditional Holi music and songs.

As the evening progressed, attendees gathered in the main hall for the evening Aarti, followed by a complimentary Dinner (Maha Prasaad)
