As uncertainty deepens around the H-1B visa process in what many are calling 'Trump 2.0,' immigration experts and staffing consultants are urging skilled professionals to consider alternative visa routes and global opportunities. With thousands of qualified applicants left out by the annual H-1B lottery system, industry voices emphasize that rejection doesn't necessarily mark the end of the road.
"While the H-1B may be the most popular U.S. work visa, it's far from the only option," said Siddharth Baruah, co-founder and CEO of NA Global Consulting.
