Willow, a premier cricket platform in the U.S. and Canada, has launched Willow Sports, a free cricket streaming channel in North America.

The Sports channel will stream select ICC Women’s T20 World Cup matches from Oct. 13, on platforms like Sling Freestream, KaroStream, Fubo, DistroTV, YuppTV, and Plex, allowing fans to watch live matches, classic games, and more.

Commenting on the significance of the launch, COO of Willow, Todd Myers stated, “Over the past year, cricket’s popularity has skyrocketed in North America, largely fueled by USA’s stunning victory over Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and the second season of Major League Cricket.”

He said that with cricket's growing popularity, Willow Sports will spotlight the sport by offering free access to a wide range of live cricket coverage, including major competitions like the IPL and ICC events. The channel’s lineup kicks off with the highly anticipated ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, featuring a showdown between defending champions Australia and 2020 runners-up India on Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. ET.

The launch follows Willow’s recent partnerships with streaming platforms and regional networks, including Fubo, YES Network, ROOT Sports, and NBC Sports Bay Area.
