Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) has announced Balaji Sreenivasan as a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 Gulf South Award.
Celebrating its 40th year, the award honors visionary entrepreneurs from Central and South Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, whose innovations are shaping industries and creating lasting community impact.

Founder and CEO of Aurigo Software Technologies, Sreenivasan was recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, purposeful leadership, and commitment to building long-term value. Under his leadership, the firm has emerged as a global leader in AI-powered infrastructure planning solutions, supporting major capital improvement and facility management programs worldwide.
“Building Aurigo has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Entrepreneurship, to me, is about solving meaningful problems and creating something that lasts. We’re building AI-powered software that’s transforming how the world plans and delivers infrastructure, and I’m grateful every day to work with such a brilliant, passionate team. Regional winners will be announced at a celebration in Houston on June 12, 2025, and will advance to the national competition at EY’s Strategic Growth Forum in November. National winners will go on to represent the U.S. at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
The Entrepreneur of the Year program, founded in 1986, has recognized over 11,000 entrepreneurs in the U.S. and expanded globally to nearly 60 countries. The 2025 awards are supported by sponsors including PNC Bank, SAP, DLA Piper, and others.
