FedEx invests $100 million in Hyderabad facility

The new facility will help meet the technological needs of FedEx operations around the world and contribute to the development of new capabilities.

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, established its inaugural Advanced Capability Community (ACC) in Hyderabad, India, with a financial investment of $100 million, in an effort to leverage the potential of Indian talent.

Indian American Raj Subramaniam, president and CEO of FedEx Corporation, and Richard Smith, president and CEO of Airline and International for FedEx Express, were in attendance at the launch ceremony.

Highlighting the significance of the investment, Subramaniam said, “This investment in talent and innovation is part of our broader plan to drive excellence and deliver unparalleled smart logistics solutions worldwide. By leveraging an exceptional talent pool, we are accelerating digital transformation and delivering innovative solutions to our customers.”

As per an official statement issued by the organization, the newly constructed facility is positioned to emerge as a hub of digital and technological advancements, in accordance with the Telangana government's objective of fostering a dynamic pool of technological professionals.
