Fighter a film featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone has grossed over US$ 12 million (₹100 crore) in two days of its release. The film released on January 25, 2024.
Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan disclosed that the film grossed over US$ 4.3 million (₹36 crore) on day 1 and over US$ 7.6 million (₹64 crore) on day 2.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the fame behind Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, the movie was officially announced in January 2021, and its initial theatrical release was set for September 2022. Its pre-production phase encountered delays due to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The movie also features actors Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Ashutosh Rana. Actor Hrithik Roshan plays a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force, Shamsher Patty Pathania while Padukone also essays the same role of squadron leader as Minal Minni Rathore.
The movie marks Padukone's third collaboration with the director, adter Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), and Pathaan (2023).
Touted as India’s first aerial action film, the film’s synopsis reads “Shamsher Pathania fulfills his lifelong dream and becomes a member of the Indian air force. As he faces rigorous challenges, Patty must rise above his own limitations to become a true hero.”
Sharing a sneak peek of the movie behind the lens, Roshan wrote, "Nothing happens unless first we dream. We dreamt, we toiled, we persevered, and finally we brought our vision to life."

Satchith Paulose has done the film's cinematography, which is being hailed as the highlight by movie critics and fans. The patriotic feel and message of women empowerment in the film are also being largely appreciated by the audience.
