The influence first generation Indian Americans have on US-India relationship and on various aspects of India's soft power such as cricket and Bollywood are immense, TiE Dubai chairman emeritus Prashant K. Gulati stated. 

He made the remarks in a panel discussion titled "New Global India" at the recently concluded 2024 TiECon in Santa Clara, California, which is the world's largest meeting of entrepreneurs and technology professionals organized by the TiE Silicon Valley group.
