It's noteworthy that Macron visited India on a state visit in March 2018 and an official visit in September 2023 for the Delhi G20 Summit. Additionally, he has hosted Prime Minister Modi on four occasions during his visits to France.
Macron's state visit signifies France's sixth participation, which is the highest among all nations, as the chief guest on India's Republic Day. This visit also follows Prime Minister Modi's trip to Paris on France's Bastille Day on July 14, 2023
