FREMONT, California — Private funeral services were held on May.5 afternoon at the Fremont Memorial Chapel for a family of four originally hailing from Kerala, who were killed last week in a car accident.

The victims were Tarun George, his wife Rincy, both 41, and their two sons Rowan, 13, and Aaron, 9. All were residents of nearby Pleasanton, California, where the accident occurred on Apr.24, at about 9 pm.

The Pleasanton Police Department says the car crash is still under investigation. Pleasanton Police Captain Larry Cox said in a press statement: “A full investigation of the accident is ongoing, although speed may have been a factor. The vehicle appears to have lost control and collided with a large oak tree. Despite efforts to render aid to one of the children, all four individuals died at the scene.”
