International efforts to protect children's rights, which have been the subject of several laws and studies, have met with utter silence in recent years, according to Nobel Peace Laureate and child rights advocate Kailash Satyarthi.
Speaking to New India Abroad on the sidelines of the Indiaspora Summit Forum for Good (IFG) in Abu Dhabi, Satyarthi highlighted the persistent crisis of child labor, exploitation, and suffering, despite economic progress and legal advancements.“We as the international community, we as the global society have failed our children, and we are failing our children because we are not honest to our children”, Satyarthi said.
