Gold Card coming soon, will succeed in India: Commerce Secretary

Owners of the card will be “international entrepreneurs”

President Donald Trump’s Gold Card is “coming out” soon, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said on Jun. 3, adding he is confident “they are going to be incredibly successful in India”.

Taking questions at the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum in Washington DC, he linked his visit to India to the inauguration of the card: “The Trump card is coming out. I expect the Trump card will create really an enormous opportunity for people to have the ability to come to America. I think they're going to be incredibly successful in India. So, when people ask me, when are you coming to India? I'd say, when I launch the Trump card, I promise you I'm coming to India.”
