Ravinder S. Bhalla, Mayor of Hoboken, New Jersey announced that he has joined a coalition of over 45 elected officials, cities, and counties nationwide in challenging the Trump administration’s cuts to National Institutes of Health (NIH) research funding. 

The Mayor has signed onto an amicus brief, filed in federal court in Massachusetts, arguing that the funding cuts are unjustified, illegal, and would have devastating consequences for research institutions and medical progress.
