Hoboken Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla delivered his final State of the City Address on Mar.11, at the Mile Square Theatre, marking the end of his tenure since taking office in 2018. Speaking to a packed audience, Bhalla reflected on the city's achievements and outlined ongoing initiatives, including the long-awaited Sinatra Drive Redesign Project, which is set to break ground this fall.

The project, aimed at enhancing pedestrian and cyclist safety along the waterfront, is a key component of Bhalla's broader efforts to make Hoboken a national model for traffic safety. “But this isn’t just about numbers,” Bhalla said. “It’s about the parent pushing a stroller without fear, the seniors who know they’ll be seen before stepping off the curb, and the thousands of residents who don’t just feel safer—they are safer.”
